ZHAW Summer School 2023

Bio-based materials in practice

This summer, students of INUAS universities can participate in the Summer School for bio-based materials at the ZHAW in Switzerland, Wädenswil. Whoever is interested in the development of sustainable solutions to replace fossil-based products is welcome.

Accompanied by an interdisciplinary team, the students will gain hands-on experience along all steps of the life cycle of bio-based materials, from production, sourcing, processing, use, to their end-of-life. These practical workshops are accompanied by the task to develop an own project proposal, which must also be presented and defend. Finally, social activities together with invited experts offer the chance to build a professional network.

The 10-day Summer School is held in English and targets BSc- (at least second year) and MSc students with a background in natural sciences of engineering.
