The INUAS universities, FH Campus Wien University of Applied Sciences, Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences, and ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences, are among the largest and most important providers of applied teaching and research in their respective countries. They work together on the priority theme "Urban and Regional Quality of Life".

Our metropolitan areas are closely linked by geography and culture and are distinguished not only by their extraordinarily strong economies but also by their exceptional quality of life.

With more than 8000 students, FH Campus Wien University of Applied Sciences is the largest university of applied sciences in Austria. The departments of Applied Nursing Science, Applied Life Sciences, Building and Design, Health Sciences, Social Work, Engineering and Administration, Economics, Security, Politics offer a choice of more than 60 part-time and full-time bachelor’s and master’s degree programs as well as master’s courses.

FH Campus Wien comprises six campuses and five partner locations. Training partnerships exist with the Vienna Health Association, the Vinzenz Group, the Nursing Academy of the Barmherzige Brüder, the Federal Ministry of Finance, the Federal Ministry of the Interior and the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Public Service and Sport.

In addition, recognized certifications are proof of FH Campus Wien University of Applied Sciences’ high standards in quality management. Continuing education in the form of seminars, modules and certificate programs are offered through the Campus Wien Academy.

FH Campus Wien University of Applied Sciences is committed to sustainability and is a founding member of the Alliance for Sustainable Universities.

FH Campus Wien University of Applied Sciences’ broad network includes around 150 international universities and universities of applied sciences as well as industrial enterprises, companies, associations, public institutions, and schools. Maintaining this extensive network promotes cross-border knowledge exchange. R & D projects in the degree programs and external contract research are conducted through our own research societies.

International partnerships strengthen cross-border collaboration and allow students, teachers, and employees of FH Campus Wien University of Applied Sciences to learn, teach, and conduct research at international universities. Within the strategic INUAS partnership, FH Campus Wien University of Applied Sciences serves as a knowledge hub for a core set of focus areas, brings together different areas of expertise, and initiates and contributes to international university projects.

Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences is one of the largest institutions of its kind in Germany. With its broad range of 86 bachelor’s and master’s degree programs and a pronounced focus on applied research and practical collaboration with partners from the business, social and public sectors, it provides around 18,200 students with excellent opportunities on the job market and in scientific research.

The degree programs and courses offered by Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences’ 14 departments encompass technology and engineering, economics, social sciences, and design. Teaching is tailored to a variety of target groups: full-time and part-time students, working students and those interested in professional development as well as dual-degree students in bachelor’s, master’s, and certificate programs. In addition to providing academic qualifications for future experts and leaders, the university’s programs offer a solid scientific preparation for continuing on to doctoral studies.

Research and development projects in a number of areas, particularly energy efficiency, production and materials, and digital value creation, are a defining aspect of the exceptionally well-networked research environment at Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences. Research and development are undertaken in close collaboration with partners from the business and social sectors. This ensures optimal practical experience for the university’s students.

ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences is one of Switzerland’s leading universities for applied sciences. With its Schools of Applied Linguistics, Applied Psychology, Architecture, Design and Civil Engineering, Health Professions, Life Sciences and Facility Management, Engineering, Management and Law, and Social Work, ZHAW is active in teaching, research, professional development, and services – all grounded in both practice and sound scientific research. Nearly 13,000 students at the institution’s three locations in Winterthur, Zurich, and Wädenswil gain the necessary skills and know-how to be successful in their future careers. Key societal challenges guide ZHAW’s research & development activities, with special focuses on energy and social integration.

ZHAW places particular emphasis on strong networking. It collaborates with universities, companies, public institutions, and non-profit organizations around the world and offers its students a wealth of opportunities to acquire an international education, foreign languages, and intercultural skills.
